From a fresh installation of wine 0.9.58, i.e. an untouched $HOME/.wine, everything works :
- using the VSTi through DSSI-VST host routed to JACK.
- All functionality works, track outputs output what they're supposed to, latency is as low as your hardware can handle, and the DSSI-host makes it a very well behaved JACK client, both for audio and MIDI. It works without a glitch and you can save your own presets, etc, as advertized for windows.
What does not
Nothing that I haven't tried. Everything works.
What was not tested
I tested everything I could. Even the authorization of the product works without a glitch!
I recommend it for ppl who need a pro sounding drumming software. It runs perfect and can be controlled from linux sequencers. I tried Rosegarden, Muse and Qtractor. Rosegarden is my favorite due to tempo ramping. Addictive Drums lets itself controlled perfectly well and you can record every track outputs to ardour (individual elements + overhead micing, room micing and extra bus sends).
