- Playing over network
- 1P Joystick
What does not
- Menu background, some images displayed (when you start an adventure with speech, the "from orange_juice" splash screen ...), nothing vital for playing, I don't know how these issues should impact into the rating, so I am just putting Silver to be more respectful of the rating descriptions. Otherwise this would be Platinium.
- Patching. I was only able to install the 1.0 version of vanilla Acceleration of Suguri (not XE that I couldn't install), every patch would make wine panic and throw an unhandeled exception. Patching under a windows computer and putting Suguri's folder where you first installed it (important, otherwise your config will not be parsed !) works great.
What was not tested
- Version 1.00 of XE and any patch (if they exist) that are between vanilla 1.0 and vanilla 1.1, since they only seem to touch some game ressources, I guess that they will work great in Wine, even if there is no reason to not be upgrading since the patches are free. (I don't know if upgrade from Vanilla to XE is, but Vanilla 1.0b works.)
I must admit that I had less problems making it run under Wine than under two of my three windows boxes. I advise to build the ja_JP.utf8 locale and run wine using LANG=ja_JP.utf8, that helps the installer and the configurator if they have issues for you.
