What works
Weather functions work properly. Latest WeatherScope 1.7.1 test is with Wine 1.1.25 binary and Pardus 2009. Help file lists numerous improvements. Performance was fine with previous Wine releases using Debian Lenny 5, OpenSUSE 11.1, Mandriva 2009.0, Slackware 12.2, Mepis 7, Ubuntu 7.10, and Kubuntu 8.04.1. On a fast CPU with plenty of RAM the program flies.

Great program in a storm. Program still works with P-II chip and under 400 MB RAM. In graphics and RAM-challenged machines under Linux/Wine, multiple simultaneous options can be slow. On faster machines, including netbooks, WeatherScope is very fast. Tested on a very up-to-date and excellent Pardus 2009 distro with KDE 4.2.4.
