as described in http://www.zak2.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=768 you need a native avifil32, you need to install ffdshow and you need to install the frauenhofer codec. Instead of removing winemp3.acm.so, it seems to be enough, to deactivate winemp3.acm using winecfg. I can confirm the nvidia background bug, where the background is white and only graphics which you will interact with will be visible. I can also confirm that using __GL_FORCE_INDIRECT=1 fixes that problem for me.
