I mount the disc image to a mounting point and have wine configured to use that mounting point as D:\ Unfortunately at the moment I'm stuck using XP in virtualbox to make movies in 3DMM, because the sound issue prevents me from using 3DMM in Wine. I'm hopeful that this will be fixed, considering the 256 color bug is no longer an issue as of Wine 1.4. I also need the stability, because the movie files can get quite big (and 3DMM crashed when I tried opening a movie in the theater room). So close to working, if 3DMM can run with stability and no sound issues, I probably wouldn't need virtualbox anymore!
