Almost everything: I loaded a game saved in Windows and played through several areas.
What does not
Sometimes the cursor won't go all the way to the edges of the screen at startup. This can be fixed by moving the cursor to the opposite edge (fullscreen) or taking the cursor out of the window and moving it back in at one of the corners (wine explorer /desktop). Some parts are a little slow: island map / area selection, items screen, character generation and character stats / level up screen. The text in dialogs over a certain width, and the character stats page is cut off at a certain border. What was not tested
- Built in cheat codes - Finishing the game
I have used only builtin DLLs to test this. When I don't start the game from its program directory (~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Geneforge 3), it starts up with a black screen. I can still hear sound. The workaround I've found for this is to always start the game from its program directory.
