All server options, and running the software for long periods of time without crashing. The server software can also be run without X, but cannot necessarily be installed this way (see untested stuff).
What does not
Starting the program without some selective tweaking to make it work without X. I use wineconsole --backend=curses cmd.exe /c haloded.exe to launch the server in PuTTY on my VPS, which seems to work just fine, apart from the (admittedly not wine's fault) fact that I can't do much in the way of filtering output from the server app, since it doesn't use standard input/output/error channels.
What was not tested
Installing in an X Windows environment (since the server I ran the software on does not run an X Windows environment). However, the software could easily be installed on a Windows machine and the files from the Windows machine after the installation can be used to run the server.
Once you get it running, it never quits out.
