Word Processor component of the WordPerfect Office X3 suite.
This AppDB entry is for test results and guidance notes for the WordPerfect application. There is a separate AppDB entry for the WordPerfect Office X3 suite.
It is recommended you read and follow the guidance notes of this entry and those to be found under the WordPerfect Office X3 suite AppDB entry. Except where indicated otherwise, all guidance notes are valid for Wine 1.0.0 and later.
Almost certainly a great deal. However ...
What does not
WordPerfect 13 is unstable.
After a short while changing window focus led to the application crashing when the focus returned to the application.
What was not tested
Anything and everything that requires the application to be stable for more than a minute.
It isn't stable long enough to take a screen shot. Looks like fixme:hlink:DllCanUnloadNow may be to blame.

If WordPerfect hangs on first startup see the WordPerfect Office X3 AppDB entry for the note “Apparent Hang with only Splash Screen Displayed” for guidance on how to reveal a message box hidden behind a splash screen.
If you reveal a message box that reads:
Entrust initialization file not found: C:\Windows\Entrust.ini
then you have installed the Entrust Security Integration option. If you do not know what this is you almost certainly do not want it.
By default, WordPerfect uses 'enhanced' (Explorer-like) file dialogues. These do not work under Wine. WordPerfect will probably crash opening an existing document or saving a new document unless the enhanced dialogues are disabled first.
Start WordPerfect. Select Settings... under the Tools menu. Select Files... Uncheck the "Use enhanced file dialogs" box. Click OK. Click Close.
