What works
Everything appears to work. My kids have played this game a lot with no problems.
CD access is slow at times (in terms of the drive spinning-up), and can make the game appear to pause. I think this is merely the game as it was designed however, since games of this time-frame that used direct CD-ROM access were often slow IMHO.

The game requires 16 bit color depth. If you are using 24 bit color depth, you will need to change you xorg.conf to 16 bit and restart X before playing the game.
