What works

All features of the application and the installed sample questions work fine. I also run it on SuSE 10.3. It's not dependent on the distribution but on the wine version.

HOWTO

The Wine-Application-README:

--8<--
Requirements:
You need an active Internet connection!
You need cabextract installed on your machine!

Getting started:
Run install.sh
This script will create a WINEPREFIX in $HOME/.selftest and install the
Self Test Software.

If an iexplore window with an URL like http:///RegServer pops up
just quit it, ignore the error messages and wait a moment.

To run the program execute start.sh

Attention!
If you don't run it with start.sh (through the menu or the desktop shortcut)
make sure to use WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.selftest and to run wineserver -k after you quit the program
this is needed because some processes don't get killed
when the main program quits.

Attention!
The $HOME/.selftest WINEPREFIX is not really usable to install other programs

Notes:
Unfortunately this software requires a native IE to be installed,
since wine's IE is not able to handle URLs w/o protocol. ( try wine iexplore google.com to reproduce it)
If it would be able to handle them install.old _should_ work too
and the "winetricks" in that file should be enough. (perhaps then even less "winetricks" would do it)
