What works
Installation after defining in Wine Configuration AxCrAxCrypt-Setup.1.6.4.4.exe as XP emulation.
AxDecrypt works out-of-the box.
What does not
AxCrypt as out of the box however can be solved using a couple of scripts that can be integrated into nautilus and/or konqueror.
Not solved the problem of encrypting a whole directory in one shot, currently it is asking for password for every single file under the directory to encrypt.,
