What works
The installer runs although it identifies five Windows services that are needed for Mozy to function: these are:
VSS
COMSysApp
SwPrv
EventSystem
MSDTC
It installed the two components of the Mozy system, the backup configuration program and the backup status monitor.
Both of these opened
correctly though likely won't work without the aforementioned services.
What does not
The installer hung the first time I ran it though it did
install the two parts of the Mozy application. I suspect this may be a function of the missing windows services
Workarounds
What was not tested
The backing up of files, the configuration of the backup sets and the restoration of files.

Additional Comments
I imagine that it is unlikely this will every work since it relies on the more than simply a compatibility layer but on the presence of operating system services - though I suppose these might be created.
