Starting game, Intro video, Menus, Sound.
Creating a profile
Starting a race
Install process added OpenAL to program list.
What does not
Almost everything was rendered black and white. Making the game virtually unplayable (like racing at night with no headlights). Chalking up to video driver deficencies.
When asked to restart game for setting changes, first few times will exit Wine. Manual restart resumes process.
What was not tested
Multiplayer, online services are apparently down indefinitely.
Nvidia users will likely have a better experience. This was a test install "out of the box" Wine32 compiled from source on a 64-bit OS. PulseAudio via WineALSA driver Custom kernel 3.8 (tailored to machine) Gecko and Mono installed automatically. No winetricks, no PlayOnLinux KDE+Openbox Video: AMD HD6770 , xf86-video-ati 'radeon' driver. AMD Athlon64 x2 2.8Ghz, 4GB DDR2 RAM Monitor: 1920x1080 resolution (widescreen)
