PES6J is a masterserver by others to still PES6 online, however, it now requieres kitserver and therefore the complete package which also includes the not in W.I.N.E. working faceserver.
Alternately, there is Goalserver that can create a local masterserver so you can play with others in LAN but due the lack of these, I'm not able to test it.
I figured out that fserv.dll is the reason for freezing the game after reading the review of "an anonymous user". Best thing is to edit "../Pro Evolution Soccer 6/kitserver/kload.cfg", so "DLL.5 = "kitserver\fserv.dll" is not included when starting the game. Otherwise I used my standard prefix that has nothing special installed and also runs for other games like HL1 based games, TrackMania Nations Forever and later PES games.
