What works
Game is highly playable. Generate random maps, save games, all in-game functions. econfig.exe
Must manually copy the game data files into the ~/.wine folder. I used a sub folder called Empire.
What does not
some keyboard mappings for the shortcut keys are wrong. Right ALT didn't work for me, used left ALT key for the shortcuts. Very minor issue.

sound...Like who cares?
Basic, standard games, remote slave, network play untested.. I play against computer opponents.
