To Get Help Help Features to work: Click the How to Use Help in the help menu it should give message like "couldn't find .hlp file, would you like to locate it yourself. click "yes" and open Chips.hlp that will give all the help features To Get Background Music to Work: You need a midi sequencer like Timidity Install Timidity Once installed in terminal execute the code: timidity -EFreverb=0 -iA -Os Then open CHIPS the background music should work **If you don't execute the code first, you will get background music, but no sound effects** to stop timidity in terminal press ctl+z for more help on background music try looking at here: http://tuxguitar.herac.com.ar/tgwiki/doku.php?id=doc:no_sound My Background music worked after following those steps.
