The game needs CD 3 to play. A no cd patch exists, but you cannot watch the in game movies with it. You'll need the original binary at least to start the second part of the game and to watch the game finale. Not all hardware 3-d rendering technologies work; bear that in mind when you execute game configuration the first time you run the game (You can rerun the configuration program any time if need be).
