Most things, including typing text, changing fonts and font size, bolding, italics, inserting tables, saving and reopening files.
What does not
A few problems with fonts. It is possible that this may be an Abiword problem rather than a Wine one, but it happened so I am reporting it.
When I first tried to type some text, I got some weird "WinDings-looking characters. When I pressed "return" after the first line of text, I got an "Information window" popup which said -
"Could not load the dictionary for the English (New Zealand) [en-NZ] language".
After I chose a different font, I was fine - the text appeared as normal.
This problem (WingDings characters) also affects text entered in tables, so you may have to set the font for a table first (before entering any text in it).
What was not tested
Tables of contents, revisions, mail merge, bullets....
I think that with a little bit of attention, this application could very soon be running at "Platinum" level. This problem (with dictionaries / fonts) doesn't look like it will be very difficult to fix.
