What works
All functions of ExpressSCH seem to work.
All layout and printing functions of ExpressPCB seem to work, for both 2 and 4 layer boards.
What does not
I have not been able to actually ORDER a board in Wine. All network related activities in ExpressPCB seem to crash the application (but not Wine), although other networked applications run just fine. I am not able to Update Pricing File, Test Ordering or actually Order a board. The application dies after displaying "Waiting for Response from expresspcb.com" with the message:
Unhandled exception: page fault on read access to 0x7800f22b in 32-bit code
or
Unhandled exception: privileged instruction in 32-bit code
The applications are also DRAMATICALLY slower in Wine than in WinXP on the same machine. Slower enough to be REALLY annoying, but much less annoying than rebooting. The interface updates lag badly ... it is easily possible for me to draw four or five traces between components "blind" while they VERY slowly appear where I've clicked.
Workarounds
What was not tested
I think I've tested everything...
