You cannot open the program though, seems a few errors occur, also install of USB driver and board tools fails.

Prior to first launch of the application you need to run cc_setup.exe. This tool allows you to set your development board and select a simulator (in the case of not having a board). This tool runs and says it has succeeded but wine spits out many XML errors such as: Error at file "C:\CCStudio_v3.1\drivers\TargetDB\drivers\tisimarm.xml", line 3, column 44 Message: Required attribute 'XML_version' was not provided Then when you launch the cc_app.exe a few prompts appear: First: "Error opening Component Manager INI file - path in registry is missing or incorrect. Path" "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Texas Instruments\cc_Compdb.ini". Code Composer Studio will attempt to use the last set of plug-ins that were run." Click on ok and you will get: "New components detected Select YES to enable for all compatible CCS releases Select NO to leave disabled (can be enabled manually through the component manager)" Then after waiting you will get: "Your Code Composer does not support the connected targer. Device driver name: "C:\CCStudio_v3.1\drivers\tisim28x.dvr"" Then the application quits. While this is all happening there are many messages being spit out on the terminal. Some are errors, here is a sample: wine: Unimplemented function ole32.dll.I_RemoteMain called at address 0x7b844cf0 (thread 0069), starting debugger...
