Additional Comments

P-CAD version 2001 works correctly right out of the box, from installation to completion of a real world PCB with Schematic. Footprint creation works as well as Library Executive for creating new parts and adding them into existing libraries. Pcb will crash when in the Export Gerbers > Setup Output Files dialog if you click Output Path... to browse when an invalid path is in the text box. This works as expected if you manually correct the output path to at least start with a path that exists. Occasionally, Pcb and Sch would crash, like the case mentioned above, but overall, I found it to be stable enough to use for a real project. On the positive side, the graphics performance running under Wine is actually much better than running natively on Win7 due to something about the screen draw calls it's using.
