What works

Installation works from the Setup.exe in the Setup directory of the Fritz DVD.

The 2D board works after disabling the anti-aliasing feature in the board design configuration window.

Both Fritz 11 and the Playchess interface work to a great extent.

The database window also works. Merging new PGN files into the database is slow, but works.

What does not

Some of the menu icons are not drawn properly.

There are lots of gdiplus error messages printed when the program runs.

The game list of the database window feels slow.

The program is usable but frequently corrupts and sometimes crashes.

Enabling the Evaluation Profile Window works but after a while the graphics display of the board is corrupted.

Additional Comments

I'm enjoying using Fritz 11 under SuSE Linux 11.1. Recommended.
