An older version not seen too often, works well under wine.
Installation, running, and anything that does not require a printer.
What does not
Neither MS Word plugin (tested with MS Word 2000) nor virtual PDF printer. I guess wine relies entirely on CUPS, and of course CUPS won't detect anything that's running under wine...
What was not tested
A world of things... I could successfully delete a page from a PDF document, though. ;-)
I'm giving it silver for others did before. But I pretty much doubt that they could make the PDF printer work. It is a real issue, as CUPS-PDF and OOffice will create much bigger files than Acrobat. That's probably the main reason to keep using it, except for it's nicer to use a GUI than pdftk.
