An older version not seen too often, works well under wine.
I have done a full installation. The installation went smoothly (one error, but went through it and installed fine). After installation, you will need to do the following to get it to run:
Delete the DocBox.api from the acrobat plugin directory:
For me, it appears to do most of what I need it to do: Open PDF, Annotate PDF, SAVE PDF, etc...
So far, I have been able to open PDF, Save As, Save, Add links and book marks, export images from PDF, Open document as PDF (jpg / tiff), import PDFs to combine documents ... That is about all I need so far.

I have not tested everything. Feedback from users as they experience problems will be appreciated.
