What works
Installing the game. Manually patching the game. Single player (see extra comments) - DirectX9 , x86 version.
What does not
Installer does not creates language.dat and region.dat, needed for patching the game and running it. Game won't run unless Wine is patched with patch from bug 10318 (comment 20). Game is unable to use mouse unless Wine is patched with patches from bug 10318 (comment 28).
Workarounds
What was not tested
In-game advertising auto-loading :) Multiplayer (hard to do, considering Flagship Studio is out of business). Copy protection :)

I'm trying to install the game on Arch Linux with Kernel "Linux 5.6.3-arch1-1" mostly with the settings from www.gamersonlinux.com/forum/threads/hellgate-london-guide.2475/.
The Setup.exe starts fine but after entering the registration key it flashes the installation screen and goes directly to the last one without error message, saying "Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again."
Did anybody encounter that and knows how I could possibly debug that?
I already tried different Wine versions (3.6, 5.5) and different Windows bases (Windows 7, Windows XP) and also using POL and wine directly, but nothing changed the situation.

It kinda works starts with using version 1.5.2 but the mouse does not work and no text appears.
