You can apply the patch SP 1.2 as long these files are present: Data/language.dat Language=English Data/region.dat Region=NorthAmerica The trick is that they must have no carriageReturn, neither newline chars at the end of the line, so after editing them, use `bless` hex editor to remove these characters (0D 0A) from the end of the line.

I'm trying to install the game on Arch Linux with Kernel "Linux 5.6.3-arch1-1" mostly with the settings from www.gamersonlinux.com/forum/threads/hellgate-london-guide.2475/.
The Setup.exe starts fine but after entering the registration key it flashes the installation screen and goes directly to the last one without error message, saying "Your system has not been modified. To install this program at a later time, please run the installation again."
Did anybody encounter that and knows how I could possibly debug that?
I already tried different Wine versions (3.6, 5.5) and different Windows bases (Windows 7, Windows XP) and also using POL and wine directly, but nothing changed the situation.

It kinda works starts with using version 1.5.2 but the mouse does not work and no text appears.
