Application installs without issues. If you create a link from your USB port device to ~/.wine/dosdevices/COM1 the program will connect to the radio.
What does not
Once the connection is established, the program displays the frequency on the radio, so it appears communication occurs somewhat. After that, the app shows an hourglass, locks up, and has to be killed to exit.
In the terminal window the following bugcheck is displayed:
