Core functions work very fine, no problems in day to day work. SET MEM up to 1450m (Megabytes, very fine!!!), the buttons (back, forward like browser) in the help window now show the icons. Copy and Paste works find (nothing gets pasted twice or so). Installation doesn't fail but one has to copy the isstata.100 file by hand
What does not
Some texts are formated using very strange fonts (don't know whether this is due to Stata or Wine). Esp. in help - Window the Text-Buttons are barely readable. The help-Window does not appear in the Window-Lists and is therefore not easily accessable once the focus has changed to another program (minimize Stata and restore it again, the help-windows will appear in front of the main window).
What was not tested
the statistical functions in detail (I cannot tell about every possible usage, but simple things work)
still: Installation: you have to copy the isstata.100 of a valid windows install and create an "update" - directory in the ~/.wine/drive_c/Programs/Stata10 Admin note: rating changed to conform to the rating definitions.
