GUI interface looks fine, appears in KDE kicker tray, menus work fine.
What does not
Will not connect to an external LynX-10 connected to COM 1. Returns the following error:
Hardware test.... Failed
The port selected for this interface does not have the capabilities HCA needs. A query of the serial I/O driver requesting its capabilities shows that this port does not support selecting timeouts between characters read.
... this error does not appear using native win98.
What was not tested
Passing of X10 commands, scheduling, and other running operations.
This software is very close to going gold-if not platinum, but its inability to communicate properly through the COM port is keeping it from being of much use. DLL overrides tried were: comcat comctl32 comdlg32
