To fix engine errors on startup, you need to force the video card model on regedit: 1 8a) Start regedit, go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> Software -> Wine -> Direct3D 2) Add a DWORD key "VideoPciDeviceID", value "0x0402" 3) Add a DWORD key "VideoPciVendorID", value "0x10de" The game runs with Wine Staging+CSMT and Wine Nine, the latter configuration is the one I'm currently using.
