The game works fine with a fixed executable from the Widescreen Gaming Forum. It is available in this thread: https://www.wsgf.org/forum/forums/gaming/requestdiscuss-game-solutions/21771/ford-racing-2-windows-vista7-fix-needed-not- The provided executable there only works with the russian version. To get it running with any other version, do the following: 1. Run "winetricks wmp10" to get rid of the getkey.dll error 2. Copy the fixed FR2.exe from wsgf into your installation 3. Use a program like Hex Editor MX to open any .spc-file from the sounds folder 4. Look at the 13th, 14th and 15th byte of the .spc file. Copy them. 5. Open the fixed FR2.exe with Hex Editor and replace the string "71 F6 40" with the one you noted. 6. Run the game The string for the German version I own (distributed by Kelloggs) is: 89 44 B2
