What works
The Engine works perfectly, you can install it under other GUIs without problems. Using the GUI without the menu.
What does not
The menu of the GUI. Every time you click on it, the program will freeze. The option "high quality notation" will make the font unreadable. As you can't use some functions without the menu, this is really annoying. E.g. "Monte Carlo" can't be started without the menu. The online GUI also crashed when using the menu. This is the same error that makes Fritz 11 nearly unusable.

I guess Aquarium is the better choice for Wine users, as Rybka 3 runs perfectly with it.
