What works

  • Installation
  • Program Launch
  • Quicktime (sort of)
    • The Quicktime installs and works, albeit the audio is choppy and the same with the video, but works a lot better than running it under Windows XP virtualized.
    • Running Guitar Method virtalized works with the exception of having excessive sound issues and very slow and choppy video playback.  Audio cuts out completely virtalized until program is exited and relaunched.

What does not

  • Audio commentary works sometimes.
    • Sometimes audio does cut out; restart of program needed

Workarounds

What was not tested

  • Automatic tuner
    • Plays the reference notes just fine

Additional Comments

In order to use the program you need to have a copy of the CD or if you want to, create an ISO and mount it using Gmount-iso or similar program. After that you need to configure Wine with Winecfg and have it mount the ISO given the path from Gmount. Without that the program will keep asking for a CD and will not play the videos or audio recordings.
