Workarounds

What was not tested

I didn't listen to a lot of streams (only the ones I am interested in) and perhaps I left some settings untested (the default settings should work fine).

Additional Comments

1. When you start screamer.exe for the first time, you will be asked to choose a language. DON'T choose your preferred language, click "Cancel" instead. You can change the language later (Settings->Language->...). 2. If you encounter problems using the menu, disable the "Update presets at startup" option and delete or rename "presets.xml.gz". Wine seems to be unable to handle the "Presets" menu correctly because it is too large. I put all interesting radio stations into the favorites instead. Perhaps it will suffice to downsize the "presets.xml.gz" by deleting some unused entries. 3. You have to install "Windows Media Player" ('winetricks wmp9' or 'winetricks wmp10') and native "Microsoft XML" ('winetricks msxml3') if you want to listen to wma streams.
