What works

The install works, move player installs and the video and sounds play.  On my VGA monitor (dual head setup) I could get fox.com videos to play, I had to  go full screen and then esc back but then the videos showed up.

What does not

On my dvi monitor the video pretty much killed my computer, I had to reboot to get my screens back.

The flash around the player for fox.com was not rendering correctly

Workarounds

What was not tested

Abc.com, fancast.com espn360.com and any other move sites.

Additional Comments

I run with an Nvidia card and the proprietary nvidia linux drivers, so I have some 3d speed ups. The player works fine in virtual machines so I thought I'd give wine a shot. I have directx3 installed in wine order to run my sling player .

HowTo / Notes

I Cannot Find This Application

I can no longer find a way to download this software. It used to be prevalent by way of networks use to distribute episodes on-line. Now all of the networks that I use on-line (in the U.S.) have reverted to flash - which is working significantly better (even though flash won't support G.N.U./Linux for much longer).

ABC even includes G.N.U./Linux as a supported operating system in its requirements.

Since, I cannot find the software nor content to test it, I cannot update this database. There was a way to download it from movenetwork's site, but even finding that would be futile because there isn't content for it.
