What works

It seems to work, fairly well in the small screen. The installation requires Flash's player, which was installed easily thru the Mozilla add-on program, but not thru Adobe's website. The installer didn't show anything the first time, so I re-ran the installer and it briefly showed an installation window, but finished quickly.

What does not

It does not work in full screen-mode. This may, or may not, have to do with flashplayer. I tried the player on fox.com/house. It should work the same on all fox.com/fod shows. It takes ahold of the user interface of both native and Wine based applications. On Ubuntu I used control-alt-backspace to open a shutdown menu. Restarting Gnome worked before, but that keyboard shotrcut has been disabled in Ubuntu for a while.

Additional Comments

It can cripple a system and require a restart. It does not work for any type of regular, or dependable use. I would only use it in it's current state as a last minute resort if I missed a really important episode and cannot run Move Media's Player on Mac OS X, or Windows 2000+.

HowTo / Notes

I Cannot Find This Application

I can no longer find a way to download this software. It used to be prevalent by way of networks use to distribute episodes on-line. Now all of the networks that I use on-line (in the U.S.) have reverted to flash - which is working significantly better (even though flash won't support G.N.U./Linux for much longer).

ABC even includes G.N.U./Linux as a supported operating system in its requirements.

Since, I cannot find the software nor content to test it, I cannot update this database. There was a way to download it from movenetwork's site, but even finding that would be futile because there isn't content for it.
