nearly everything one needs (don't want to list all the features here, so please continue reading what doesn't work as far as I found till now)
What does not
- launching color balance menu will crash Photoimpact. this is bitter, if anyone knows a solution for this -> advice appreciated - Imape Optimized plugin from the Web tools doesn't work (says that wrong number given 2 or 3 times, than no preview. but: you can install Smart Saver v3 (which is a free upgrade for registered users!), has nearly the same functionality
