winetricks -q vcrun2005 needed to get this far. A patched taskkill lets this application run correctly, but the patch has been rejected.

Uninstall leaves empty directories behind
Following uninstall of Gómez Peer you will likely be left with a number of empty directories. This is normal behaviour and the same occurs in Windows XP. This is not a Wine bug.
