Remote desktop using VNC as base. Flawlessly installed and connected across 2,000 mile Internet to repair an XP machine. Transferred files and manipulated functions I needed to clean out virus/malware/spyware.

Since CrossLoop v2.4 autoscaling has been turned on. This can make it very hard to read certain things in the VNC window. To change from autoscaling to no scaling do the following:
run 'wine regedit'
browse to HKCU/Software/CrossLoop/CrossLoopConnect/Options
add a dword value and name it 'ImageScaling' (if it doesn't already exist)
for no scaling set ImageScaling = 1
for autoscaling set ImageScaling = 0
