What works

Everything I have tested:

• Installing from DVD
• Playing several hours
• Watching various cut scenes
• Saving / loading the game state
  

What does not

• Starting the game without noDVD patch.
• Starting the game without d3dx9_36.dll (as described below).

Additional Comments

To run Geheimakte 2 with wine:

1. Use the latest wine version.
2. Get the d3dx9_30.dll from dll-files and put it into the ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32 directory or into your game directory *
   
3. A noDVD check file is required, search for one, that replaces the original fsasgame.exe file.

If you have a nvidia card you can enable antialiasing and anisotropic filtering via the nvidia-settings utility.

Note:
If the game runs terrible slow and some characters are not drawn right (only white sketches) you have two possibilitys:
-go to the game menu and switch complex lightning to simple lightning or
-Disable pixel shader via winecfg. Go to the graphic tab and uncheck the box in the Direct3D section.
