King's Bounty: the Legend (new, 2008)

What works

Pretty much everything, not played all the way to endgame but lvl8 with many battles and no longer have any gameplay issues (but see comments!)

What does not

Some very minor graphical glitches from time to time, related to shadows or water. If you play for a very long time (many hours) the X server may report "Out of memory" which requires you to restart the game, apparently there's some subtle memory leak. You can quicksave at any point while hitting F5, quite useful in general too.

Additional Comments

Important: You MUST override msvcrt.dll or you will have random crashes on loading fights and some battles crash every time. All these problems are resolved by installing msvcrt.dll. The easiest way to do this is using winetricks and install "vcrun6" package.
