What works
The IDE can compile and run "Hello, World" just fine
What does not
Installing - hangs during "DAO" installation, see bug 11882. Killing a subprocess named *.tmp causes install to finish.
cl.exe - aborts saying it needs mspdb50.dll; setting the path to include SharedIDE/bin would solve that, but perhaps the installer should have set that up somehow, and would have if it didn't need to be killed?

If the installer didn't hang, this might rate silver or gold. I haven't tested it enough to see if it's gold.
