Fullscreen cuts off about 20% of the screen on my machine, blocking out critical options and crippling the game install. Fortunately window-mode is default.

Make SURE /media/cdrom or wherever your CD loads is marked Drive D:/ in Wineconfig. Use the locale-identifying command LANG=ja_JP.UTF8 wine KANAOKA.EXE to enable proper character display
