Additional Comments
Sometimes the application will fail to start on the first few attempts. At the server address entry screen, the entry of a valid IP address (that of the Beyond TV server on the LAN) results the error message "Couldn't get BTVServerAddress". This is the stopping point, since the main application menu lies beyond it. The bronze rating signifies that the application has made steps toward normalcy, but is still unusable. The first signs of progress started around v9.60.

Installation using the downloaded executable fails as of last check. Use the following manual method instead:
1) Install .NET 2.0, carefully following the AppDB instructions. Be aware that the default version should be set to Windows 2000 for this step.
2) Extract contents of the downloaded file (BTVLINK_V482.EXE) using winrar. A trial copy can be obtained from www.rarlab.com.
3) Install C++ redistributable libraries (VC++2005Setup.msi in expanded directory) using msiexec.
4) Install BTV Link application (from expanded directory) with 'wine BTV_INSTALLER.EXE'
