What works

The following was tested and worked:

- Basic Game Play (Running, Gunning... etc.)

- Sound/Audio was clean and clear (Using OSS Audio Driver with Hardware Acceleration set to Basic via the Wine Configuration)

- Direct X Levels (-dxlevel 80, 81, 90)

- Several Maps (Most time was spent on Harvest)

How to install Zombie Panic! Source via Steam:

1. In the Steam client navigate to the 'Tools' tab

2. Select and install Zombie Panic! Source Dedicated Server

3. Once the installation is complete, navigate to the 'My Games' tab and Zombie Panic! Source Client will be installed and ready to play

Performance:

On this system (Specs Listed Below) via the in-game fps monitor (Command: cl_showfps 1) I received a minimum fps of around 25 and a max peak of close to 100. This is at Direct X level 9 and 8.1 and at a resolution of 1920x1080. The current Nvidia driver (180.44) installed is the default offered by Ubuntu 9.04 32bit at the time of this posting. The Wine version (1.0.1) in use is the default offered by Ubuntu 9.04 32bit at the time of this posting. Overall, very exceptable by my standards.
