The game works with window mode or in full screen. Then driving a race you can press F7 for a higher resolution. But the game is 32bit Software 

(WINEARCH=win32  winecfg)

320x240 Display Problem
2014-12-26 Admin note: the following information was extracted from user comment made in December, 2013 and may not be relevant to current Wine.

Use Xephyr to emulate a display with the required resolution.

or

Use xrandr to identify the desired display output and if the minimum supported resolution is lower than 320x240, then do:

xrandr --newmode "320x240_120.10" 12.39  320 328 360 400  240 241 244 258  -HSync +Vsync

xrandr --addmode  320x240_120.10
