Install VT Transaction Plus Copy scrrun.dll from XP to .wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/ or system32 and register (wine regsvr32.exe scrrun.dll) Using winetricks install mfc42.dll winetricks should also install vb6run but it did not work for me so: download VB6.0-KB290887-X86.exe run VB6.0-KB290887-X86.exe and extract the resulting vbrun60sp6.exe using the linux cabextract utility. Copy the following dlls to .wine/drive_c/windows/syswow64/ or system32: asycfilt.dll comcat.dll msvbvm60.dll oleaut32.dll olepro32.dll stdole2.tlb then run wine regsvr32.exe comcat.dll msvbvm60.dll oleaut32.dll olepro32.dll run winecfg and under libraries add overrides for oleaut32 and scrrun to native This should all now work.
