As far as I can see everything...

There are several issues with this one... My Specs: - AMD Athlon 64 Phenom X4 @2,3 Ghz - 6 GB DDR2 RAM - Geforce GTX 275 (Gainward) -> nvidia 180.60, xorg 1.5.3 with hal-useflag - EIZO S2411W via DVI First: Use FBO - everything else failed for me. Second: The mentioned solution under http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=15795#c5 does work. Under Gentoo I used the ebuild-tool manually to compile with an modified misc.c. Third: For me, full resolution @1920x1200 was only achievable by having an emulated desktop of 1920x1200. Otherwise the game insisted on having a max. res. @1280x1024. I had full hardware acc. on, sound was via ALSA - no problems so far with jitter, choppy sound or anything. Also no textures were missing. Fourth: Be aware to set AA-Mode in the nvidia-settings to "Set by application"! I received a black screen as I had it set to "Override". Fivth: Be aware not to have a gamepad attached - camera was looking always to the top, as my own was attached... took me about 1 hour to find the solution... Sixth: settings.txt is rather useless - importing it didn't change anything.

Use wine-1.3.6 or revert commit f0b0c1b1dddf606177651deb45c0afd6259076aa as described in RegressionTesting wiki pageWorkarounds for known bugs:
If it crashed anyway (there will be clutch in the sound and no "Chapter complete" message will appear), run console blindly and type wineserver -k.
Switch off "Decals" in Options -> Visuals -> Advanced Settings
To navigate in menu use arrows to control selection, Enter on non-submenu option is "accept", ESC - "cancel". Or you may try to guess mouse position watching at highlights.
Play with Virtual Desktop enabled: winecfg -> Graphics -> Emulate Virtual Desktop and set size for it matching your desktop resolution. Also you probably want to disable window decorations. Enabling Virtual Desktop is commonly a good this to do, as it guaranties you, that application won't mess your current resolution up, if something would go wrong.
Disconnect your gamepad before starting a game or try joypad.txt file from comments below.
