Additional Comments

Final verdict: Runs even better than on Windows 10. I originally installed it on the Windows partition but I had issues running it, especially because it crashed whenever I alt-tabbed. In WINE it works completely fine - so I'm gonna keep playing it this way from now on. The brightness setting is the only problematic one. The brightness doesn't reset after exiting the game - so better leave it untouched, or reset it manually (or through a script) when exiting the game. On Windows 10 this setting does not work at all so there's that... == My system == PC | Custom-built desktop CPU | Intel i7 6700K (4.0 GHz, 4 cores) RAM | 16Gb DDR4 3000MHz GPU | ASUS STRIX GTX 1080 O8G OS | Arch Linux 64bit (Linux kernel 4.10.13) DE | GNOME Shell 3.24.1 Wine | 2.6 Didn't do any benchmark or FPS measuring, however I didn't experience any slow-downs, but I wouldn't expect any from my GPU.
