This is the sequel to Bombzone 1.0. It will add network support and new themes. Still alpha!
This version can only be played on LAN/network, but has got no singleplayer/multiplayer on one machine, like 1.0 has!
What does not
Since the console opens by pressing [#] instead of [^], and console commands start with "#"-character, it's quite difficult to use it. (Think you would simply have to change layout to a german one...)
What was not tested
more than 3 players
Game won't reset screen-resolution after exit! Either use wine-desktop or change bmz2k7.ini! (see below) working in wine 1.1.16 - .19 too.
|Operating system||Test date||Wine version||Installs?||Runs?||Used|
|Show||Debian GNU/Linux 6.x "Squeeze"||May 31 2009||1.1.22||N/A||Yes||Platinum||John Haywards|
|Current||Debian GNU/Linux 5.x "Lenny"||Mar 01 2009||1.1.20||N/A||Yes||Platinum||John Haywards|

The game itself won't reset the screen's resolution, to avoid this, edit bmz2k7.ini:
Change "fullscreen =1" to "fullscreen =0", save and start the game!
You can enable debugmode, change settings and resolution too.
